The Chief Building Official duties responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:

(1)  The enforcement of the State of Michigan Building, Plumbing, Mechanical and Electrical Codes.

(2)  The enforcement of the Muskegon Heights Property Maintenance Code and all other laws, ordinances and regulations pertaining to public health and safety.

(3)  To adopt codes and ordinances as required by local and state.
