Watson is a native of Muskegon Heights and is a 1972 graduate of Muskegon Heights High School.  He has served on the City Council since November 8, 2005.  He attended Muskegon Community College and received certification in drafting, engineering, and electronics.  He is married to Patricia and has two children and three grand-children.
